We’re currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for tramping roles in general haulage, based in Doncaster. Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting general haulage goods across the UK in a Class 1 vehicle.
- Completing tramping duties, with an average of 3-4 nights out per week (with £25 per night out).
- Performing daily vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork.
- Communicating with the transport office regarding schedules, delays, and issues.
- Complying with legal driving hours and working time directives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in general haulage and tramping is essential.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and haulage regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
