Class 1 Drivers immediate starts in Tewkesbury
Pure Staff are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers working Day and Nights and the weekends for the following role below.
Class 1 Drivers required immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in distributing fresh milk and dairy products across the whole of the UK. Our customer in Tewkesbury is one of our largest clients based in the Gloucestershire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous and current positive feedback.
This family run business is looking for drivers to join their smoothly ran operation on a temporary basis.
The customer is looking for Class 1 Night Drivers who are flexible to work Sunday-Friday and weekends but also be flexible towards the work due to support their customer’s needs.
Our client will be accepting HGV Class 1 Drivers who fit the criteria listed below:
Duties of a Class 1 Drivers:
- trunking to an RDC
- Store deliveries of cages
- Up to 10 drops if carrying out store deliveries
- Flexibility to work different contracts
- The ability to undertake manual handling
The ideal HGV Class 1 drivers will have –
- Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
- 6 Months experience is preferred
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 Drivers on Nights who are available to start between 18:00 and 00:00. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
Pay rates-
Days: £16.21 per hour Monday to Friday
Nights: £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday
Weekends & Bank Holidays: £19.00 per hour
Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately.
