A national manufacturing firm are seeking a driven Business Development Executive for their Leeds Sales office.

The role will be a mix of new business development and account management to maximise potential returns for the business and for the successful candidate’s own income via a strong uncapped commission structure.

The Role

  • You will be joining a well-established business contacting clients on the company database, proactively identifying new business and securing sales opportunities – including developing repeat business from current accounts
  • This role requires individuals who are tenacious and enjoy new business development
  • Ideal candidates will have a successful background in outbound sales within a B2B environment
  • Requires proven outbound business to business sales experience in a target driven environment, you’ll also need to demonstrate a confident approach, be a strong communicator and someone who is confident engaging business owners and senior management in a professional and persuasive dialogue
  • Generate sales revenue and work towards personal, team and company targets

Ideally we need you to be

  • Minimum 1 year operational experience in B2B Industrial telesales environment
  • Professional and confident telephone manner is a must have for success
  • Self-motivated approaching work with a mature, positive sales attitude
  • Drive to succeed in a B2B target driven professional sales environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to consistently work towards and exceed expectations
  • Tenacious, with a desire to succeed, self-motivated, ability to overcome client rejection
  • Strong telephone manner, clarity, confidence to project offer over the telephone
  • Proven track record in outbound telesales with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage work-flow ensuring financial sales objectives are delivered
