My client is a leading distributor of air compressors, air tools and pneumatic products to a wide range of industries to include aytuomotive, aerodpace and construction. As a global leader in the industry with turnover exceeding £50m my client is now looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join their busy team in Yorkshire and the North East.

The Role

* Secure and grow revenue within strategic accounts covering both existing and new clients
* Develop and implement account management plans to secure existing sites.
* Communicate at all levels,to incude business owners, Managing Directors and procurement Directors within these prestigious accounts to ensure you maximise your potential.
* Combining robust long-term planning (large projects) with measurable short term gains (KPI’s and smaller projects).

The Candidate

* Exstensive travel within your own territory.
* Identify and respond to customer needs – Establish and grow effective relationships with customers and gain repeat business.
* Experience within Compressors is essential, either in a sales or engineering capacity.
* Able to deal with complex concepts comfortably.
* Technical qualification desirable but not essential.
